In Canada, Conventual Franciscan Friars (OFM Conv.) are present in Southern Ontario at St. John's Church in Kingston, St. Bonaventure's Friary, Church and Ministry Centre (www.st-bonaventure.ca) in Toronto and St. Raphael's Friary and Church in Burlington.

The Friars’ ministries include three parishes, healing ministry, pastoral counseling, adult faith development, parish social ministry, hospital chaplaincy, secondary school chaplaincy and teaching at the university level. The Friars are also spiritual assistants to the Secular Franciscans. 

Through Franciscan Ministries:

• we promote the Conventual Franciscan Order across Canada

• invite people to share their prayer request with the Friars through Companions in Prayer.

• enroll your friends and loved ones in the Franciscan Mission Association to share in the daily spiritual works, prayers and masses of the Conventual Franciscans Friars

• we invite men to share the richness of St. Francis spiritual charism by becoming our brothers in St. Francis (www.franciscans.org)
