Catholics in Reno Have Opportunity to Explore Their Faith

St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral in Reno, Nevada is holding a “Why Catholic?” program this year. “Why Catholic?” brings together Catholics who want to delve further into their faith and develop a deeper relationship with Jesus. Offered in English and Spanish, this adult catechesis experience reminds participants that our faith is not static. As our lives progress we have to make a conscious effort to deal with our beliefs and to move closer to God. A program like “Why Catholic?” helps us in this effort. At St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral, its rector, Friar Francisco Nahoe, OFM Conv., will also stimulate “Why Catholic?” participants’ minds with Scripture and Liturgy programs.
