Forestville, Maryland is very close to Washington, D.C.

Three young men attended the recent “Come and See” Weekend in Forestville. Their experience furthered their discernment process. During the weekend, the men prayed, learned about Francis of Assisi and the Franciscans, and lived in community with other friars and postulants. The friars and postulants who reside at St. Bonaventure Friary in Forestville were delighted to welcome their weekend visitors and introduce them to Franciscan life.
