Friars James and Justin’s presence at the ceremony draws attention to the fact that the Conventual Franciscan friars have been working at Archbishop Curley High School since its foundation in 1961. Today as it did 49 years ago, the school offers an excellent education with a focus on faith and good citizenship. Included in its mission statement are Franciscan ideals, which students and staff attempt to live by. These ideals focus on dedication to and imitation of Jesus Christ as well as the creation of a strong and vibrant community.

The dedication ceremony for the Holthaus Center for the Arts included dinner, a tour of the new facility, a blessing by Bishop Denis Madden, and a concert. The Holthaus Center for the Arts is an amazing place that will enhance the artistic component of Archbishop Curley High School’s students’ education for a long time to come.
