Conventual Franciscan Fiesta in Hermosa Beach

At the end of this month, Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Hermosa Beach, California will hold its annual OLG Fiesta at Dusk. During the five day event – from April 24 to April 29 – parishioners will delight in carnival rides, listen to entertaining music, and eat sumptuous food. They will also have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction and join a 700 Club.

Our Lady of Guadalupe is a Conventual Franciscan parish. The Conventual friars have been at OLG since 1957. They have helped to expand the parish and turn it into a real community. Today Friar Raymond Mallett is the pastor at OLG. He welcomes the faithful from all walks of life and offers masses in English, Spanish, and for teenagers.

Every event and concession at the OLG Fiesta at Dusk will be run either by someone from the parish or the neighboring school. Those attending will focus on having fun and forging every stronger bonds with fellow members of the community.
