Sounds of Gospel Music Resound Through San Francisco Parish 

Bound by Grace

Parishioners and guests at the Conventual Franciscan-run St. Paul of the Shipwreck Parish in San Francisco, California enjoyed a fantastic evening of Gospel music on July 23. Bound by Grace, Gospel Melody Tones, Sam Devore and Family of Faith stirred the souls of the audience gathered in the parish with their powerful songs. Stanley Roberts – a San Francisco television reporter - was host for the evening.

St. Paul of the Shipwreck Parish has a long musical tradition with a special focus on Gospel music. In fact, three Bound by Grace members – Brian King, Bruce Starkweather, and Joe Haywood – sing with the parish’s Inspirational Voices of Shipwreck Gospel Choir. Members from the group Family of Faith also belong to the choir.
