Continuing the Process of Conversion

Sister Lynn Levo
Conversion is a lifelong process. Whether we are lay or religious, we spend our lives moving closer to God. Recently nine Conventual Franciscan friars deepened their conversion process by attending a retreat at the Franciscan Retreats and Spirituality Center in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Located just south of Minneapolis, the center offers a quiet, natural space for reflection. Visitors can walk along nature trails or gather together to talk about various aspects of their faith. This dialogue on faith - if it is guided by an authority - also makes sure that believers do not drift away from the tenets of their religion.

Friars attending Sister Lynn's retreat
The recent retreat for the friars was led by Sister Lynn Levo, CSJ. It focused on living religious life and was much enjoyed by the participants. Friar Bob Roddy and the other friars who live at and run the Franciscan Retreats and Spirituality Center were very welcoming of their visiting brothers who had come from across the continental United States to attend the retreat.
