Exciting Today’s Youth About Their Faith

Young people from St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Clarksville, Indiana

Parishioners from St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Clarksville, Indiana heading to morning Mass on August 28 do not have to eat breakfast at home.  They can instead drop by the parish’s Social Hall for pancakes and sausage.

St. Anthony with its Conventual Franciscan Pastor Friar Joseph West wants to send its high school students to the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis. This year’s conference is set for November. It will bring thousands of teenaged Catholics from the United States along with their priests and youth ministers together to pray, have fun, and reaffirm their mutual bonds of community. The conference features keynote speakers, Masses, workshops, and many other stimulating and fun events. When the conference ends all its participants will surely feel reenergized about their faith. They will also carry their faith into the future and pass it on to generations that are yet to come.
