OFM Conv. Parish in Pismo Beach Works to Prevent Abortions

St. Paul the Apostle Parish, Pismo Beach, California

We can help save lives in many different ways. In Pismo Beach, California, St. Paul the Apostle Parish is holding its Annual Baby Bottle Campaign. Run by Conventual Franciscan friars - with Friar Paul Abegg serving as pastor of the parish – St. Paul the Apostle’s Annual Baby Bottle Campaign assists crisis pregnancy centres such as Lifeline and Alpha in San Luis Obispo County.

Life is precious

The Annual Baby Bottle Campaign works rather simply. Parishioners pick up baby bottles at church and fill them with money or cheques; the full bottles are supposed to be returned to St. Paul the Apostle before Father’s Day. The money – as has been mentioned – will support pregnant women who face uncertain futures. Countering uncertainty reduces the chance of abortion.
