This short video, which was filmed at the Franciscan Church of St. Bonaventure in Toronto, Ontario, presents the story of the first creche in the Italian village of Greccio. St Francis of Assisi noticed that the denizens of Greccio had drifted away from the true meaning of Christmas. Wanting to bring these people closer to Jesus he created a live Nativity scene. Now everyone could see that Jesus came to Earth to save us.
