About Friar Jude Winkler, OFM Conv.
Friar Jude was ordained in 1981. He received his baccalaureate degree from the theological faculty of St. Bonaventure in Rome and his licentiate degree in exegesis (S.S.L.) from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome. He has taught at various colleges and graduate schools, including St. Hyacinth College and Seminary, St. Anthony Theologate, DeSales School of Theology, and St. Bonaventure University. He is currently an adjunct faculty member of the Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore, the Education for Parish Service Program of Trinity College, Washington, DC, and the Roman Catholic Franciscan Theological Faculty of Roman, Romania.
Friar Jude has written over 150 articles applying the truths of scripture to everyday life, 25 children's books, and has recorded over 30 audio tapes on catechetical themes. Friar Jude preaches throughout the country for parish missions, retreats, days of recollection, etc. He also assists in the adult education programs of various parishes.
